Description
Grown for the first time in 2018 with seeds from a seed swap, we were interested to see how this grew.
A lovely bi-coloured fruit with a rich and somehow creamy taste which is very similar to Marvel Stripes so again its one of those occasions where a grow-off is needed to do a fair comparison to work out which (if either) is preferable.
Looking back at the pictures of Marvel Stripe, Big Rainbow doesn’t look quite as large. However, the crop looks like we’re going to get more fruit and (being a hot year) its possible that ripening more quickly has meant that the fruit are smaller.
Space, space I want to grow this again.
