Tomato Nectar Rose

Large pink/red cherry open pollinated tomato on strong indeterminate plants.

Description

Nectar Rose is a pretty cherry tomato just on the pink side of red with a slightly pointed shape. The large (for a cherry) tomatoes (they come in at about 2 ounces on average) hang in relatively small trusses (four or five fruit to a truss) on a fairly robust, quite tall plant which can develop seven or eight trusses before it reaches the top of the greenhouse.

We grew this from some seeds provided in a seed swap in 2014 and can find very little about it from the web. It did relatively well but, its taste was nothing to recommend it over some of the other similar tomatoes and I doubt if we will make a serious effort to grow it in preference to others.
