Tomato Radana

Red, Small Plum shaped paste/salad tomato on Indeterminate plants.

Description

Grown for the first time in 2018 with seeds from a seed swap, we were interested to see how this grew.

The small plum shaped tomatoes (about the same size as Principe Borghese) grew well on a relatively vigorous indeterminate vine. Smaller than most of the paste tomatoes, Radana is suitable for both salads and cooking, not to juicy with a reasonable taste (not as sharp as round cherry tomatoes, much the same flavour as most of the medium sized tomatoes and at least as good as anything you can buy in the supermarket).

Would I grow them again? Possibly but there are other tastier tomatoes.
