Red large cherry tomato on indeterminate regular leafed plants..
Description
Trying to find any information about this cultivar from the web was impossible because of the large number of hits about “Tomato Radio”. Regardless of what I tried to do to sort the wheat from the chaff I didn’t get anywhere. So what’s here is written from my own experiences.
It came from the 2018 seed swap with no description and 2019 was (as you’ll have seen from other posts) a bad year for tomatoes so to produce anything was counted as a success. A cold(ish) spring meant that we were carrying seedlings in and out from the greenhouse when we could which is never the best thing to be doing (there’s always a danger of dropping them) but, it survived and produced the first fruit at the end of August. To be honest its nothing special, medium sized not strongly flavoured one way or another. I let some of the others ripen more, but the flavour didn’t improve a lot. So it ends up in the basket of large, red, cherry tomatoes along with Gardener’s Delight, etc. and will go through the usual rotation.
