Tomato Limmony

Yellow, Beefsteak, heritage tomato on indeterminate plants.

Description

Limmony is a yellow Russian Heirloom Beefsteak tomato whose flavour has citrus undertones (hence its alternative name lemmony). A mid/late ripening, indeterminate, regular-leafed medium sized yellow beefsteak tomato with average (i.e. not high) production of fruits. The vines are large and need staking. Fruits are flattened, 6-8 oz with juicy flesh but need to be eaten 3-5 days after picking as they do not keep well.

In 2012, this produced slightly better than Yellow Brandywine however, this is not always the case.
