Large Orange tomato on Indeterminate vines.
Description
Grown for the first time in 2018 with seeds from a seed swap, we were interested to see how this grew.
An excellent large orange tomato with a superb rich citrusy flavour. According to the web, its one of the parent of Caro Orange (a cultivar we haven’t grown ourselves) although (in my opinion) its certainly good enough to stand on its own feet.
It cropped well and tastes good enough cooked or uncooked. Not quite as sweet as Summer Cider, it is nonetheless one of those tomatoes that will be added to the list of regular growers.
Despite the heat in 2018, it didn’t start cropping until late August but its an excellent tomato.
