A medium sized red & brown/green striped tomato
Description
We got this from the 2018 seed swap and grew it in 2019. A really dark, slightly smaller than average striped tomato it has a good taste and is excellent both as a salad tomato and for cooking (although because it was a bad year there weren’t many cooked). Looking on the web, its probably from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and, according to them comes from China.
Its very similar to Brown Sugar another of these varieties which we got from a seed swap but for which wecan’t find a commercial supplier. This is a good alternative.
